About Us

The Parisian Tea Room brings a corner of Paris to Midtown Manhattan. We serve French-inspired afternoon tea, pastries, and savory bites in a warm, elegant setting designed to transport our guests across the Atlantic for an hour or two. Our kitchen is at the heart of that experience.

The Role

We’re looking for a cook to join our team and help bring our French-inspired menu to life. You’ll work alongside a close-knit kitchen crew preparing dishes to a consistently high standard, in a space where presentation and quality matter as much as flavor.

What You’ll Do

• Prepare and plate menu items to our recipes and presentation standards
• Handle prep work, mise en place, and station setup
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen
• Work efficiently during service and collaborate with the rest of the team
• Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines

What We’re Looking For

• Prior experience in a professional kitchen (prep, line, or pastry experience a plus)
• A genuine interest in French cuisine and baking
• Reliability, strong attention to detail, and a team-first attitude
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced service environment
• Availability to start right away

The Parisian Tea Room is seeking a part-time server to join our team. We specialize in Afternoon Tea and High Tea service, offering guests a refined and memorable dining experience in a unique, elegant setting.

Schedule

• 2–3 days per week
• 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM
• Weekend availability required

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive, detail-oriented service to guests
• Present and serve Afternoon Tea and High Tea experiences
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area
• Ensure a high level of guest satisfaction at all times
• Work collaboratively with team members in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications

• Previous serving experience preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple tables
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Interest in hospitality and guest experience
