Tea houses in New Jersey: 32 Garden State tea rooms for scones, sweets, savories & such
The Parisian Tea Room, Morganville
New on the scene for 2020 is this 1920s-style tea room, which serves hot chocolate from Angelina, the famous cafe in Paris, as part of its tea services and parties.
The Parisian Tearoom also sells its own branded souvenirs as well as fine china teaware by the Australian designer Cristina Rae.
Karen Lozner, owner, created the interior design for her tea room and constructed the elegant furniture. Original artwork by Laura Angress decorates the tea room and reflects the fashion shows that take place there. Lozner hopes to expand soon to a new location and serve a full menu of French cuisine as well as high tea.
Because the tea room is part of Karen’s School of Fashion, customers also can book a sewing lesson or a fashion show as part of their visit.
Reservations, available through Open Table, required for weekends.
